Villagers farming... What behaviour is expected:
Alright, so here’s the rundown.
My villager breeder is not working, I'm pretty sure it's a bug. Villagers can also become willing by having either 3 bread, 12 carrots or 12 potatoes in one stack in their inventory. Its a good habit to check every day for updates to paper. And there probably are exact requirements to make the villagers breed.
Special NOTE to ADMINS about your OLD threat message and Policy I never consider a thread on issues as OLD if … This is both in the Breeder AND in the NPC village. I made sure the doors are counted as houses too. This will not cause them to immediately seek out a mate, however. Like this: "I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes...". It's like 3 doors per villager. Much thank you." Villagers gossiping and spawn golems in "fright" mode during the night. Probably a dumb question, but do all of the add-ons also work in VR? So: Villagers are tossing food, but there are no hearts, and no kids. If not the latest, update. I haven't done it since the latest patch, but I don't remember seeing anything saying they changed villager breeding. I just updated my Minecraft server to paper, and the villager breeder that I’ve made isn’t working at all. What can I do?
What version of paper are you running? In the Bedrock Edition update, how might one customize the layers of a flat world?
The dev team releases updates very quickly, sometimes 5 or 6 a day.
Whoever said the pen is mightier than the sword has obviously never encountered automatic weapons. But this is the method that has been working on all the servers I play on without any trouble. I just updated my Minecraft server to paper, and the villager breeder that I’ve made isn’t working at all. I don't have any wooden doors nearby, I even moved the villagers away from the machine to see if it would do something but no.
Paper version git-Paper-77 (MC: 1.16.1) (Implementing API version 1.16.1-R-.1-SNAPSHOT). the rest of the villagers, we trick the "village" into assuming there's always room for one more, because of how the math works in how they detect each other.
They makes babies at random and sometimes they stop. What behaviour is expected:
(run /paper version).

The breeder villagers make hearts and I am get an occasional baby villager now and then but not as it should be.
Any villager with an excess of food (usually farmers) will throw food at other villagers, allowing them to pick it up and obtain enough food to become willing. I’ve afk’d over night, using ImpulseSV’s villager breeder design, and came back to see that not a single baby villager was made. Can I transfer my friends hosted game to mine. Furthermore, after coming back in the morning, I’ve seen that the farmer villager only planted maybe 10 crops, despite me giving him 5+ stacks of carrots. All of these were working perfectly fine for the past week. I’ve tinkered around with the settings, according to this post that was created in 1.15, but have not seen any changes:
They makes babies at random and sometimes they stop.
Mob griefing is set to true, the server is running on default spigot and paper yml settings.
Put a block of dirt down, put a door down so it's touching the dirt in the adjacent block. Build 80 fixed the villager issues. That's how I populated every village I've built. Today however, all the villagers in my whole entire world have just stopped breeding altogether.
Iron farm producing 400-500 iron per hour.
I'm happy with how its built, I just want to know why it isnt working so I can change the build accordingly. I’m having the same problem.
-Five Star RVD 3.
When I first built it I had a ton of villagers after afking but now I just afk'ed for 3 days and got 1 villager.
All this would work great if I could get a good spawn rate.
It might help to have one there.
What are villagers useful for?
Try moving the doors to the other side of the blocks they are on.
By having the villager and the 6 doors, 7 blocks beneath (or 10 blocks above?) And you probably are true. Because you're overthinking it.

I have built a Villager breeding station, automatic farms to feed these villagers, and a villager trading station. Once all the breeding is done, destroy the blocks and doors. When I first built it I had a ton of villagers after afking but now I just afk'ed for 3 days and got 1 villager.
I know that he’s actively farming, because my collection system showed 10+ stacks of carrots, but he’s not farming to the maximum level.
